About our Morden Branch

Our Morden branch was opened in 2003. We purchased a former florist’s shop and extended and converted it to make a very comfortable funeral home. It has full facilities, including air conditioning. As well as usually easy on-street parking, we also have a small private car park at the rear of the building.

It is run by Tricia Curling. Tricia was a nurse in the NHS for more than twenty years, but injured her neck, forcing her to change to less a physically demanding career. She wanted to continue working in a caring profession so, when her sister died and we carried out the funeral, she realised that the funeral profession would be ideal for her and she applied to the company for a job.

Tricia loves gardening. When her mother died and left her some money, she decided to use it to create a Garden of Remembrance for our clients at the rear of the building. She has made such a good job of it that she has won first prize in the Commercial Premises category of the Merton in Bloom Competition for two years running. She also runs an Easter Egg Raffle each year, to raise funds for Marie Curie.

Morden branch is open from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. from Monday to Friday and from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. on Saturdays. Outside of these hours, please ring our Head Office on 020 8642 8211.
