About our Reigate Branch
Reigate is one of our more recent branches and was opened by Councillor David Pay, the then Mayor of Reigate & Banstead, in November 2010. It is a very substantial branch and fills two storeys of the building. It has full facilities, including air conditioning.
It is run by Ginny Gibbs. Ginny is a qualified funeral arranger, having gained her Certificate in Funeral Arranging and Administration from the London Association of Funeral Directors. She had a long and successful career in floristry, during which we knew her very well, before joining the company in 2011. Ginny is also Vice-Chairman of the Friends of New Tyne, which is a fund raising committee for a local care home, most of whose residents suffer from dementia or Alzheimer’s.
Ginny is assisted by Lucia Browne. Lucia is also a qualified funeral arranger, having gained her Certificate in Funeral Arranging and Administration from the London Association of Funeral Directors with Merit. She joined our team in 2016 following a career in business services and brings a wealth of experience in supporting people both professionally and personally. With a keen interest in the local community, Lucia works with several Reigate & Redhill based charities, and is involved with two local business groups. She grew up in Kent and now lives in Reigate with her husband and two cats. She is an active committee member of the Reigate WI and volunteers at a local animal rescue centre.
We have our own private car park at the rear of the building with the entrance in St. Lawrence’s Way. The entrance is within easy walking distance, for most people, of the Register Office in Reigate Library in Bancroft Road. You are welcome to use our car park whilst registering the death.
Reigate branch is open from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. from Monday to Friday and from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. on Saturdays. Outside of these hours, please ring our Head Office on 020 8642 8211.
